Trafique Coffee is a wide spaced coffee shop meant for chilling and dining in. There’s an indoor space constituting of a communal table, private tables, a huge coffee bar, and a roaster against one side of the wall. There’s also an outdoor garden if you rather drink and smoke. Though the place looks considerably minimalistic because of its white facade, there are lots of quirky decorations that is adorable to look at.
Grilled Chicken Panini
I ordered a Chicken Panini Sandwich served with a side of fries. The bread has a nice crunch factor and the grilled chicken was nicely coated with sufficient amount of mayonnaise. It is difficult to get a panini done wrong, you just need good quality ingredients and viola, a tasty dish is served.
Flat White, 35 000RP
My latte art wasn’t impressive and so was the taste. The milk was too light of a consistency and the espresso flavour was barely there. For coffee, I suggest you go elsewhere.
Big Trafique Breakfast, 60 000RP + Flat White, 35 000RP
My brother had the big breakfast which came out pretty disappointing. In Indonesia, having fresh quality ingredients is often a compromise of having to pay a high price as a result. We were served with measly looking smoked beef sausage; decent hashbrown; sauteed mushrooms that was barely there; overcooked sunny side up; cheap flavoured beef ham; a fresh sundried tomato slice that we would have preferred for it to be grilled; and a slice of bread that we thought was alright.
Interior design wise I thought they nailed it. Cute pots with various types of plants are right there for you to take your Insta shots.
They also have this wall that had been the background for photos for many visitors, myself included.
We still had a great time at Trafique Coffee, and its the type of place where I feel I would visit once, check it off my list and probably not come back for a long time unless there is a reason to.
