The area is often buzzing in the F&B side of the sector because there are many offices that are situated at it. We came across one called Drury Lane, you would know it when you see it. The red striking door is in your face and it makes a statement for itself.

Creamy Salted Egg Yolk Benedict With Grilled Prawns, 17SGD
Singapore has been trending lately with ‘everything with salted egg’. You will spot salted egg in just about anything, on a salted egg bun; waffles with salted egg sauce; salted egg pizza; salted egg chocolate lava sauce; salted egg fries; etc., and now on a benedict..! This benedict is clearly an Asian inspired benedict because instead of sourdough or on an English muffin, Drury Lane uses steamed buns for its base, with prawns placed on top of wilted kale. The salted egg yolk sauce was marvelous but I thought it lacked the amount. I was cautiously saving for more of it to coat my last bites of the benedict. But beware guys, two poached eggs already served and with more salted egg yolk sauce served, it spikes up the cholesterol to the roof.
Rosti With Truffle Mayo, Herbed Sunny Eggs, Avocado, And Mushrooms, 16SGD + Smoked Salmon, 3SGD
We enjoyed the rosti more than we did with the salted egg benedict. With the benedict it was a little mind confusing of its truthful taste, it was great but the original benedict they still can’t beat. The rosti on the other hand is more clear cut, they put in all of our favourite things on the plate, we already expect it to be good, and it simply was.
Duck Confit Waffles, With Herbed Scrambled Eggs, 20SGD
If you can’t decide between a savoury or sweet, combining the both might be an option. Although all three ingredients are great separately, it was kind of odd together. Still edible though.
The cafe has two floors, upstairs suits larger groups and you’ll get more privacy as well. The first floor is more casual and its good if you are only here for a quick coffee run. Drury Lane is a brunch place worth a visit you like a mix of Asian and Western food.
