We visited Ninety Nine today at Lotte Shopping Mall by Ciputra since its the closest mall to Jan’s apartment. Ever since we moved back from Melbourne in the late August, we can safely say that we have tried out most restaurants in this mall in the span of merely three months.
The place has relaxing sofa corners, basic dining area, as well as indoor smoking area on the other side of the restaurant that to my surprise, the smell doesn’t spread throughout the premises.
Lasagna, 79 000RP
We ordered a plate of Lasagna since we have not had it in a while. It had minced beef, spinach, tomato ragout, mornay sauce and mozzarella in it. Though the taste was good, the layers of meats and pasta weren’t enough, and due to lack thereof, the cheese amounted to an oversupply against all the other former ingredients mentioned. It was reaching to the ‘ick’ point after many mouthfuls of it.
Grain Fed Beef Burger, 85 000RP
The burger was delicious but tiny, a slider would have been a more accurate description as to a burger. On top of the beef patty were fried onion rings. I love that the ‘burger’ bun used was a multigrain bun instead of the usual white.
My final thoughts of Ninety Nine upon exiting the premises was that I had a fairly decent meal here. Not bad, but nothing spectacular either.
