Market Lane Coffee

I actually forgot to do a blogpost on Market Lane Coffee and had started on posting on my Indonesian encounters hastily. On my final day in Melbourne just before leaving to the airport, I took a trip down to Market Lane Coffee with my girl Rachel. We walked down from her place to the store next to Queen Victoria Market. Market Lane Coffee sources and brew their own coffee. They only serve coffee from beans that are available from that particular season. The brand had only started in 2009 and it is now known to brew one of the best coffees in melbourne. Locals and visitors love the words said in this particular cup, and some said that you have not experienced Melbourne if you have not taken an Instagram shot of Market Lane’s coffee cup and upload it on your feed.

Croissant + Flat WhiteNo brunch menu needed. All they focused on are only to ensure that they deliver one and one thing only, coffees. The experience can of course be enhanced with just a good plain old croissant and a Danish pastry choices.

The store at the QVM outlet has only a few seats, where most customers have their cups to go. The layout of the store maintains that Melbourne hipster vibe and I have no doubt in my mind that it was a good parting place for me from Melbourne.
Melbourne will always have a place in my heart. The two years I have been here were absolutely the best time of my life. It feels like it won’t be soon till I get to visit this wondrous city again, but when the time comes, I want to relive this moment again, just taking pleasure in my love affair with coffee, and this city.
