The Winery Kitchen

If you have seen my pictures on Instagram, you would have known that recently I went out on a road trip with my friends to Mount Hotham. On the way out from the city to our destination, we stopped by an area called Seymour and we had lunch at The Winery Kitchen. The seven of us sat under a circular dome, certainly the centre of attraction. We checked out the menu before coming by and figured ordering pizzas would be an appropriate manner of all means.
Dal Bosco Pizza, 18AUD
This pizza full of mushrooms were quite the favourite amongst all of us. The mushrooms was previously sauteed before putting them in the oven. The umami and truffle flavour was easily detectable and definitely delectable.

Avenel, 20AUD
The lamb was roasted for 6 hours and we gladly enjoyed it with a mixtures of goat’s cheese and minted yoghurt. The pizza had a hint of lemon flavour and we loved how it gave the whole dish a degree of freshness.

San Daniele, 20AUD
Since some of us couldn’t eat pork, we had the prosciutto added only on half of it. The mixture of rockets, tomato, and buffalo mozzarella was a good combination and they were all baked perfectly with nothing overcooked and certainly not under as well.

Nutella Pizza, 15AUD
We were extremely pleased with a simple dessert made great. Carbs and sweet, just two of my favourite things. Well you Nutella.. always be true.
It was an absolutely gorgeous day and this photo was taken outside of The Winery Kitchen. That’s all folks, now we are ready to take on the snow and continue our ride to Mount Hotham.
