Grill’d is different from most burger chains as they offer healthier burgers. Ingredients are purchased fresh from local markets, none cooked from a frozen state. That means, no preservatives were used that are not only unhealthy, but preservatives also contain lots of salts. Salt, sodium keeps you feeling bloated. All burgers are also made to order. Do you get excited as I am, getting to see my burger made in action? Focus on how the lettuce is extremely green? Freshness is definitely guaranteed.
Several buns and four sauces to pick from. Take your pick of either the Tomato Relish, Seeded Mayonnaise, Sweet Chilli Mayo, or Hot Chilli Mayo
Mighty Melbourne, 13.50AUD + Regular Thick-Cut Chips With Grill’d Herb Mix, 4.80AUD
My beau chose the grilled grass fed lean beef patty called the Mighty Melbourne. Pressed against tasty melted cheese, crispy trim bacon, a free range egg, a couple of slices of beetroot with salad, relish and herbed mayonnaise. There are places that sell buns bigger than the patty itself, that’s an unfulfilling gesture. We’re already eating a burger, give us more meat! Grill’d however, serves every single ingredient with the right proportion in between both buns, leaving us extremely satisfied.
‘Simon Says’ Chicken Burger, 12.50AUD + Sweet Potato Chips, 4.80AUD
Simon Says grilled chicken breast, crispy trim bacon, salad, avocado, relish, herbed mayonnaise, and Sweet Potato Chips makes a good burger. I agree with Simon.
Overall, Grill’d is one of Melbourne’s trusted burger joint that would not fail to satisfy your burger cravings. Would it fare as the best burger place in Melbourne? I would say I have had better, but they are still a strong contender of this diner dash game.
