Purple Peanuts Japanese Cafe

Chicken Curry Soba, 9.50AUD
At a popular Japanese restaurant, Purple Peanuts Japanese Cafe, to have dinner with a couple of friends. First off, the Chicken Curry Soba was amazing. The soba was coated with peanut sauce, I kid you, not.

Tsuke Don, 11.50AUD
Have you ever seen sashimi salad like this one? Its salad on a whole new level. I enjoyed every bite of it. The salmon sashimi was also already coated with soy sauce which made it yummier even more.

Gyuzara, 9.90AUD
Thinly sliced beef with rice and salad on the side. Good quality but a little overpriced, because I know I could get it cheaper elsewhere.

Teriyaki Chicken, 10.50AUD
The carrot and long beans coated in peanut sauce was good. I should try buying my own Japanese peanut sauce and cooking it like that sometime soon. The teriyaki chicken with rice were satisfactory too.
My friend, Abe, ordered a brown rice dish with a sushi roll on the side that was available on the display counter. This is a healthy option but not the most favourable. The rice was hard and it almost sort of feels like its barely cooked.
By the way, that long sushi on the right is an example of how Melbournians eat their sushis. If I’m running from class to class, that sushi would possibly be what I would probably be having in between breaks for a snack. We have more than many sushi shops at every corner of the city selling sushi rolls like these. Most sushi shops offer white rice and brown rice options.

Chicken Curry, 10.50AUD

Everything at Purple Peanuts Japanese Cafe taste good. Its the unique dishes that makes it spectacular. My favourite out of the bunch on top would be the Chicken Curry Soba and the Tsuke Don. Purple Peanuts Japanese Cafe の食べ物はおいしですよ !
