My parents organised a last minute trip to Bali. We flew over and stayed in for three days. All that we seemingly did was to visit the various beaches Bali has to offer. My favourite was Pulau Uluwatu. Simply by watching the tidal waves from the top of of the canyon crash against the harsh crags of reefs seemed to intrigue my senses. It was all I needed, getting away from the city; experiencing and exposing myself to new cultures; spending rare quality time with my parents. Bali is a place known to rejuvenate the soul. I believe I did.
