Egg, Bacon, Yukon Gold Potato, Cippolini & Thyme, 38SGD
Valentine’s day is the season of expressing one’s love. This year we kept it simple. Choosing a casual restaurant for lunch over heavy conversational topics, propositions or even the simplest matter of all… to reignite and keep the sparks of our relationship burning.
Pizzeria Mozza seemed to be the place to do just that this year. YOLO, we chose the most expensive pizza out of all the other choices. The Yukon Gold Potato slices are soft and immersed with truffle. Not too crispy bacon is the way I like my bacons to be. The half baked egg makes this pizza memorable. Thyme is one of the tastiest seasoning that never fails to trigger my taste buds. How could we say no? I like the way this pizza taste so different than any other meaty pizzas I usually eat.
Arancine Alla Bolognese, 15SGD
Remember one of my post in Melbourne when I discovered Arancine? We fell in love with it. Arancine is crispy rice balls that’s usually served with tomato based sauce. Of course, melted cheese would elevate the savouriness of this dish to another level. Now I’m always looking out for Arancine whenever I visit Italian restaurants. We only had two dishes to share since we were still full from breakfast.
Happy Valentine’s Day Jan. And thank you for the secret surprise hamper and chocolates you gave me at midnight.
I was so pleased with the service because they provide handbag hooks! Now I’m tempted to invest in one. For fussy ladies like me, I would usually need an extra chair to put my handbag on. I would not let my handbag kiss the floor, ever. Well done Pizzeria Mozza! Its these little things I’m pleased with.
