First stop at Sydney we made our way to Bill’s for brunch. Still feeling a little full from supper, we ordered a big breakfast and two bread loafs to share. Bill’s is a pretty popular brunch spot and famous for its scrambled eggs and ricotta pancakes.
Full Aussie Breakfast, 24.50AUD
I’ve noticed that eggs in Australia taste better than in Asian countries. Why? because most of the people here opt for organic rather than caged eggs. The scrambled eggs lived up to the countless ravings by people all over Sydney. They were ahhh-may-zing!!! What’s big breakfast without the other good stuff? Its accompanied with sourdough toast, bacon, miso mushrooms, pork and fennel sausage.
Sour Cherry And Apple Loaf, 7.50AUD
Grandmas baking is one of the best things in life. During this festive season, eating this Sour Cherry And Apple Loaf feels like a blessing and reminded me of home. Jan especially loved the Honeyed Ricotta.
My favourite thing about brunch in Australia is how random strangers wouldn’t mind sitting across each other even though they’ve never met. Sometimes… they even start engaging in conversations about their daily lives. Sometimes… the simple and most gratifying things in life come free to us.
Homey, warm and cozy was how I felt when I was at Bill’s. Its like getting welcomed by a family for a good old home cooked lunch. I felt special.
