Both Jan and I were crazy enough to decide to order three whole Domino’s pizzas with two sides. This is his whole idea of ‘We have exams and now we can eat at home without having to trouble ourselves to cook or eat out cus this will suffice for 3-4 days alongside other meals’. We were also tempted with the promotion deal where three pizzas with two sides are priced at only 29.95AUD. We added three more bucks to get one of the more exclusive pizza, Chicken Napolitana (below).
The Supreme Pizza is Jan’s classic favourite. With pepperonis, rasher bacons, ground beefs, italian sausages, mushrooms, capsicums with mozzarella and oregano cheese… One simply couldn’t resist.

We paid three bucks more expensive to try out the Chicken Napolitana. As rewarding as the ingredients were, the thin overly crisp pizza base just puts me off. It proclaims to be the healthier pizza because it has a thinner base and has lower calories. Not worth it, I don’t like it. (Calories amount are listed on their site)

Out of the three pizzas that we ordered, this has got to be my favourite one. With plenty of juicy prawns and crispy bacon being just enough meats to suit my taste buds, the chunks of feta cheese is incredibly tasty. Yes… this is a rectangular pizza.

Too overly salty, meh….

There’s garlic bread… and then there is cheesy garlic bread. Opt for the latter, it makes a whole lot of difference!

Its easy to please a sweet tooth like me with any types of desserts. I’m not too particular with my dessert selections because I like most of them sweets!! But… trust me when I say I would rather get two cheesy garlic bread than the Belgian Choc Lava Cake. This one tastes a little bit… artificial?

I know many of you gave bad ratings to Domino’s Pizza because of their service. However, I’ve been enjoying great service every single time I order from them online. Most times, our pizza came within 20-25 minutes prior from cashing in online. There’s a tracker on your account online where it tells you exactly the status of your pizza process. Its pretty accurate. For them to cook and deliver pizzas altogether within half an hour….. talk about efficiency!
Oh yes, you could add additional bucks to opt for gluten free base pizza. Then again bread is still wheat and I don’t believe its 100% gluten free. I mean… how can something that’s made out of gluten be ‘gluten free’? Its just two words to make you less guilty of the carbs you’re consuming. When you’re eating pizza, go all out and eat more slices. I’m sure your cheat day will help speed up your metabolism rate (yeah right). I should shut it already because I have cheat days way too many times per week.
All of this aside, I have good news! Exams are finally over, means I’ll be scouting and blogging for food places as well as exciting places to be. Stay tuned 🙂
