Banana Nut Delight
The other day I had lunch at Muleta’s, a brunch restaurant right smack at Queen Victoria Market, the largest open air market selling fresh foods in the southern hemisphere.
I wanted to satisfy my sweet cravings and so I ordered Banana Nut Delight (8AUD). Its waffles with bananas, chocolate sauce, maple syrup and sprinkles of white sugar icing. The portion is just right if you’re looking for something easy and sweet but do not want to overeat.
Muleta’s Big Breakfast
Every single time Jan visit a brunch restaurant, he would order big breakfast or eggs benedict, no surprise. The Muleta’s Big Breakfast costs 16AUD. This is the very first disappointing big breakfast we have ever tried in Melbourne. Other than the warm and sultrious hot dog, there’s nothing else to rave about. I’m guessing that they have everything prepared and cooked. So all they need to do when someone orders the big breakfast was to warm the bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms and toast, place them on a plate and its all ready to be served.
Boo! I’m definitely not recommending Muleta’s. If you’re ever here, waffles and pancakes is the only thing you should order.
