Small Ramen & Chicken Gyoza & Small Rice Bowl Set
Not a big surprise, of course Ramen Santouka’s first outlet started in Japan. The soup broth is perfect and the pork meat was really tender and flavourful. The noodles aren’t soft and that is a huge thumbs up point from me. It is really hard to put it in words, you just have to try it! This ramen set costs me 21SGD. I will have to agree that Ramen Santouka is listed as one of the ramen places in Singapore. The gyoza comes in five pieces and its a nice addition to my shio ramen broth. Can you spot the Komi Tamago (1.50SGD) I ordered at the background?
Regular Ramen & Char Siu Rice Bowl Set
The only difference between the small and regular meals is the size of the ramen bowls. More noodles and more soup in other words. The Char Siu Rice Bowl is not too much in portion so you won’t be loaded with too much carbs. If you order this set in size small, it costs 19.50SGD. Top up a small amount for the regular!
The outlet that I visited at Cuppage Terrace has both inner and outer dining seats. There was always a queue for every time I passed by Ramen Santouka. This particular outlet is located along a stretch of bars that gets pretty crowded at night. Get some drinks along the area after you have your ramen, its always a great way to end the night. Call me boring but I always order my favourite Shirley Temple whenever I visit bars.
