The Orange Thimble
The Orange Thimble is a cozy cafe. You can be as snug as bug in the rug here whether its with yourself or with a couple of friends.
I ordered the English Roll (6.5SGD) for my post lunch and pre dinner dish. I love how they use bratwurst sausage because its one of my favourite sausage type ever. Accompanied with crispy bacon and sauteed mushrooms rolled up in the hot dog bun. Do you know that 28 grams of bacon alone reaches up to 150 bad calories at the very least. Such thin slices and it already consumed a pretty high amount of calories. That is not wise, but definitely worth it.
Did I tell you how many times I eat sandwiches in a week? probably at least three times or more. This egg Mayo sandwich costs 8.5SGD.
Thick and hard chocolatey ice cream like texture. The Hazelnut Darquoise is like hardened smores, in a good way. Oh yummy!
Crumble Cheese Cake
One of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever tasted. Its cold, millky, creamy, sweet and slightly sourish. The crumbs just made it even better! Both the Hazelnut Darquoise and the Crumble Cheese Cake are their two most popular cakes in the cafe.
I don’t know how these Bundaberg taste like. Bundaberg is the non alcoholic type of beer. My friends ordered these and they seemed to like it while I’m just satisfied with my cup of ice water.
Cozy laid back theme and perfect place to chill by.
Some odd yet artistic paintings that I can totally relate with.
They also have an outdoor garden where you can sit and drink your coffee, tea, gossip with friends, or simply read a good book or magazine. The Orange Thimble is the perfect kind of place to hang out with the perfect kind of people.
