MOF My Izakaya

Niku Udon
I think you’d be very much confused on what to order as there’s tons of choices to choose from the menu. Yes, too much selection! MOF My Izakaya is a typical Japanese restaurant. Prices here are also rather affordable and really not expensive.
Sliced beef with udon (11.80SGD) has a very mild soup base. Eat it to keep you nice and warm.

Tan-Tan Ramen
Tan-Tan Ramen at 11.80SGD was the best seller. Quality is rather comparable to home cooked noodles. Tho the minced beef and pork is quite nice, the noodles aren’t nowhere near as good as any other ramen sold at ramen specialty stalls.

Seafood Tonkotsu Ramen
For Tonkotsu Ramen, there are three selections. They are Char-Siew Tonkotsu Ramen (13.80SGD), Chicken Tonkotsu Ramen (11.80SGD), and of course the one above, Seafood Tonkotsu Ramen 13.80SGD.

Pork Katsu Toji
You may choose pork or chicken for your selected katsu. The above deep fried breaded pork has nice egg sauce combined with mushrooms. Yum! Just in case you’re wondering, there’s no noodles or rice laid below the pork katsu. (13.80SGD)
Teriyaki Salmon Belly Bento
The Salmon Belly was tender and fatty and cooked lightly in teriyaki sauce. The dried scrambled eggs and seaweed is a nice companion for the bento, which doesn’t overwhelm the whole meal. Instead, it helps complement the Teriyaki Salmon Belly to be the stand out piece. (12.80SGD)

Salmon Belly Teriyaki

Similar to the Teriyaki Salmon Belly Bento, except this one’s ala carte. (8.80SGD)
Agedashi Tofu
And who doesn’t love tofu? I wonder how they cook these little softies so perfectly. (5SGD)
Hot-Pot With beef Set (Sukiyaki)
I love Nabe Hot-Pot so much. I think it’d be even better if they serve peanut sauce along with it for the meat to be dipped. I know that’s Shabu Shabu specialty, but that’s just the way I like it. I love everything peanut sauce! The one above costs 20.80SGD. I thought there’s plenty of a much nicer and better deals of Nabe sets elsewhere though.
Cheesecake + 2 Scoops In Cup (Strawberry + Green Tea With Red Bean)
The Cheesecake was pretty bad, but the Strawberry and Green Tea Ice Cream was yummy. The Cheesecake wasn’t soft or delicate. It doesn’t melt in my mouth just the way I like it. I’m not a fan!
Macha Sundae

So folks, sorry to present you a sliced off tip of the Macha Sundae (8.80SGD). Very soft vanilla ice cream with matcha ice cream makes my mind jiggle and boggle. I love it!

Hoegaarden Tower
One Hoegaarden Tower is pretty cheap at 43SGD. One pint costs 9.90SGD while 2 pints cost 19SGD. I don’t really understand why buying 2 pints at once will be more expensive than buying 2 pints separately. Someone care to explain? I’m… bewildered.
There are many other Japanese food selection within MOF restaurant itself like Kare sets, sushi platters, and even pastas. The restaurant is usually rather crowded especially during lunch and dinner hours. Their service are up to standard and they serve food pretty quickly.
